Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust wants more wildlife, more wild places and more people connected to the natural world. They create bigger, better and more connected wild places, championing the value of what nature does for wellbeing and helping more people to appreciate, enjoy and get involved with local wildlife.

Robinswood Hill
Robinswood Hill is managed by Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust (GWT) and is at the centre of the communities that we work alongside. Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust have recently built their new Head Office on the site which includes many great features and is clad with wood from another GWT site, Lower Woods.
Our communities tell us in our community surveys every year how important access to green space is to them. In walking distance for many, the site also offers free car parking, a café (currently closed for lockdown) and plenty of paths for all walking abilities, not to mention an abundance of nature which children (and adults) love to explore. |

Working with Gloucestershire Gateway Trust - commitment
Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust have been a core-funded partner of Gloucestershire Gateway Trust since inception, receiving an annual Community Development Grant from us every year for five years, committed until 2022. This is made possible thanks to our stake in Gloucester Services on the M5, we receive up to 3p in every £1 of non-fuel sales which we invest in local communities.
Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust committed to using the GGT funding to engage local people and encourage them to use green spaces including Robinswood Hill Country Park to help to realise the broad health, social and economic benefits that these spaces can provide.
