Together in Matson has been running for over 20 years, providing support and guidance to the people in the Matson and surrounding areas. Based at The Redwell Centre, Together in Matson provides positive responses and resources to help to combat challenges faced by members of the community, and utilises the experience and knowledge of the community people to help build support networks and achieve a strong sense of community.
What they do
During the pandemic Together in Matson at The Redwell Centre have been supporting local residents with food, and helping others to connect with mobile phones that were donated to GGT. Always coming up with creative new ways to bring people together, they have also started 'Wine and a Wobble' virtual evenings for ladies on Zoom, with a men's evening coming soon. For more information on current operating hours and services, visit their Facebook page.
